In one glance

Gums carry bite force. They have a blood supply. Planning should treat them like living structure. PerioMechanics puts that claim in public: pictures first, then models, then the essays.

  • Patients and referring dentists. Short pages that explain why a gum is not a gasket, and what a plan should still name: load, blood, geometry.

At the chair

My clinical work is regenerative and implant-related periodontology in Zagreb. The questions I keep at the chair — and that this site teaches in public — are:

  • FEA as a surgical modelling language, not a rendering.
  • PDL microvasculature and perfusion as constitutive facts.
  • Occlusal force as a vector, not a magnitude.
  • GTR and regeneration as constrained by defect morphology and load.
  • Papilla regeneration as geometry plus a blood supply.
  • Peri-implantitis initiation as a mechanical niche, not only a plaque story.

I am not listing a fabricated bibliography. Peer-reviewed papers, when they exist under my name, belong in journals — not invented here for a demo. Field literature cited in the lab (hydro-mechanical PDL coupling; bioheat with periodontal blood flow) is background, not a claim of authorship.

Dentum is the clinic. PerioMechanics is the teaching layer. Dent.AI is a neighbouring effort I would rather complement than imitate.
